Terry has had over 30 years experience in Architecture working on some of Australia's Landmark buildings including Rialto, Canberra City Centre ($160m retail development) Station Square and numerous Educational, Commercial, Health and Retail Projects.

Terry has specialised in Educational Facilities Planning and architecture over the past 30 years. Terry has received numerous CEFPI (Council for Educational Facilities Planners International) ands Education Awards for his innovative design solutions that "push the barriers" of pedagogical design. The designs generally have centred on current teaching and learning practices and modes of learning that encourage improved student learning outcomes.

Terry heads a building programme currently in the order of $250M that is spread over 34 school projects, primarily consisting of new Secondary, P-9 and Primary schools throughout Melbourne and rural Victoria. Significant new building projects include the Bendigo Education Plan which consists of two new 'Super-schools'; Eaglehawk Secondary College and Weeroona Secondary College with a combined total value of $43M. He is also one of three directors in charge of the Rural Replacement Program which consists of the replacement of 200 primary schools over the next few years, with a total construction value in the order of $70M.

Over the years Terry has overseen various Community and Healthcare projects such as Ronald Mc Donald House and Very Special Kids Hospice, and various child and maternal healthcare centres throughout Victoria. Terry is also well experienced in catering for clients with special needs such as disability, impaired or elderly groups. Some such projects include Warragul Special Development School, Mildura Special Developmental School, and Peninsula Special Developmental School.

Commercially, Terry has had experience facilitating projects for an array of clients such as the Australasian College of Emergency Practitioners and the Business Park in Cato Street Auburn. He has also had experience with large multi-level multi-facility buildings which incorporate studies into space planning and core structure.

He has also worked with Delfin/Lend Lease in the delivery of Malcolm Creek Learning Centre which included a number of stakeholders including DEECD, Hume City Council, Kangan Batman TAFE and incorporated maternal health and childcare facilities and integrated Kindergarten and occasional care facilities.

Terry is a well qualified and committed Architect. He has been a past member of a steering committee reviewing the "Building Qualities Standards Handbook" for the Department of Education of and Early Childhood Development. Further to this, Terry has also in the past been involved as a member of an Advisory Committee for the Schools Innovation Commission charged with the role of reviewing Educational Facilities Planning and directions for the future.
